The next meeting will feature a talk by Dr James Herring and is entitled Dunbar Cottage Hospital: Operations, Incidents and .

The talk will consist of

a) Operations done in the hospital in the 1930s and 1940s

b) Fund raising and marketing in the 1930s

c) A major criminal incident linked to the hospital in 1940

d) The transition to the NHS in 1948

e) Memories  of staff who worked at the hospital in the 1940s-1960s

The talk takes place in the Town House, Dunbar at 7.30pm on 12th March 2024 – doors open at 7pm. Please try to be seated by 7.25 at the latest.
